How the scam operates.
Red flags we documented.
- 01FCA Warning Issued March 2026The Financial Conduct Authority published a formal warning against Blue ChipExpert in March 2026, noting that the firm may be providing financial services or products without the authorisation required under UK law. Regulator-issued warnings of this type represent direct, documented confirmation of suspected unlicensed activity and are a critical signal for any prospective client.
- 02False FCA Authorisation ClaimBlue ChipExpert claims to hold authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority. The FCA's own public warning directly contradicts this. Legitimate FCA-authorised firms appear on the FCA's Financial Services Register; any firm absent from that register while simultaneously claiming FCA authorisation is misrepresenting its legal standing to prospective clients.
- 03Unverified CySEC Licensing ClaimThe platform also asserts regulation by CySEC, the Cyprus securities regulator. Independent review found no corresponding registration with that authority. Dual-regulator claims are a recognised pattern in investment fraud: invoking two well-known regulators simultaneously creates an appearance of credibility while making each individual claim harder to challenge at first glance.
- 04No Regulatory Standing With Any Recognised AuthorityDespite citing two separate licences, independent verification confirmed that Blue ChipExpert holds no authorisation from any recognised financial regulator. Without that standing, investor funds carry no mandatory protections: no segregated client accounts, no compensation entitlement, and no supervisory body with jurisdiction to receive complaints.
- 05Branding Constructed to Signal Institutional LegitimacyThe trading name Blue ChipExpert is built around a term drawn directly from the vocabulary of established institutional finance. This kind of credibility-by-association naming is a recognised pattern in fraudulent brokerage operations, used to lower initial scepticism before other deceptive tactics are applied during the sales process.

Open a free 24-hour case assessment with CryptoLeek +
Tell us what happened. A senior analyst reads your file within 24 hours and replies with an honest yes/no/conditional on recovery. The assessment is free. If we cannot recover the funds we say so plainly, including which (free) regulator channel you should use instead. If we accept the case, we open a numbered case file and issue a written quote for a flat investigation retainer before any work begins, scoped to case complexity, the jurisdictions involved, and the on-chain trail.
