§ 01 · Modus Operandi

How the scam operates.

BNB Trade markets itself via bnptrade.com as a cryptocurrency trading platform serving retail investors. The platform name references BNB, the native token of a major cryptocurrency exchange, lending the operation a surface association with a recognised digital asset without any authorised connection to it. The operator presents a professional trading interface and promotes the platform as a vehicle for digital asset investment, targeting individuals seeking exposure to cryptocurrency markets.

The operational pattern is consistent with documented crypto investment fraud. Victims are recruited through social media channels, messaging applications, or referral networks and guided to register accounts on the platform. An initial deposit generates visible positive returns on an internal dashboard. These figures are not the product of real market activity; they are manufactured to build confidence and encourage progressively larger deposits. The operator retains full custody of all transferred funds and controls every figure the user sees.

The scheme enters its terminal phase when victims attempt to withdraw funds. Requests are met with escalating preconditions: platform fees, tax verification requirements, or compliance procedures not disclosed at registration. These conditions cannot be satisfied in a way that results in actual payment, because the funds are no longer accessible. Contact with platform support diminishes and eventually ceases. Victims are left with dashboard balances carrying no realisable value and no functional channel for redress.

§ 02 · Identifying Signals

Red flags we documented.

  • 01
Platform Name Mimics a Recognised Crypto Asset
The trading brand BNB Trade references BNB, the native token of a major cryptocurrency exchange, without any authorised affiliation. Naming a fraudulent platform after a well-known digital asset is a deliberate technique for manufacturing trust with crypto-literate investors and should be treated as a credibility warning, not a credibility signal.
  • 02
    No Documented Regulatory Authorisation
BNB Trade holds no documented licence from any recognised financial regulatory authority. Platforms offering investment or trading services to retail clients are required to be authorised in the jurisdictions where they operate. The absence of any such registration is a primary indicator of illegitimate operation.
  • 03
    Independent Third-Party Warning Recorded
BNB Trade has been identified as a problematic platform by BrokersView, an independent broker evaluation service. Third-party warnings of this nature are a significant due-diligence signal, particularly when unaccompanied by any regulatory record or verifiable company information to counter the assessment.
  • 04
    Withdrawal Obstruction Pattern
Operations of this type systematically block fund recovery by inserting conditional withdrawal requirements after deposits are made. Stated conditions escalate with each attempt and function as a delay mechanism rather than a genuine compliance process. No sequence of fee or verification payments resolves the underlying problem.
  • 05
    Fabricated Dashboard Performance Data
Fraudulent trading platforms routinely display manufactured profit figures to sustain victim confidence during the deposit phase. Balances shown on such dashboards reflect no real market positions and are adjusted solely to encourage continued investment activity before the operator withdraws contact.

Open a free 24-hour case assessment with CryptoLeek +

Tell us what happened. A senior analyst reads your file within 24 hours and replies with an honest yes/no/conditional on recovery. The assessment is free. If we cannot recover the funds we say so plainly, including which (free) regulator channel you should use instead. If we accept the case, we open a numbered case file and issue a written quote for a flat investigation retainer before any work begins, scoped to case complexity, the jurisdictions involved, and the on-chain trail.

Trace your funds on-chain with our analysts +

We trace stolen crypto across BTC, ETH, EVM L2s, Solana, Tron, and major stablecoins using the same toolchain as regulators and tier-1 exchange compliance teams. The output is a forensic report anchored to specific transaction hashes and block heights, the evidence that exchanges, payment processors, and counsel actually act on. Recovery starts here.

Recover with counsel where civil action makes sense +

Where the trace lands in a jurisdiction with cooperative banks and courts, we coordinate with bar-licensed counsel in our 40+ jurisdiction network for civil action and asset-freezing orders (Mareva-style). Counsel bill you directly; the CryptoLeek investigation retainer is independent of counsel fees. The outcome is funds released back to your nominated wallet or bank account.

My deposits keep showing profit but I cannot withdraw from BNB Trade. Is the platform real? +

CryptoLeek traces deposits made to BNB Trade on-chain, identifies which exchange or payment processor received the funds, and pursues recovery through the receiving institution. The 24-hour case review tells you honestly how realistic recovery is for your specific deposit path.
