How the scam operates.
The domain presents itself as a visually near-identical imitation of a prominent Ethereum web wallet service. The Punycode label (the xn-- prefix) indicates that one or more characters in the displayed URL are drawn from non-Latin Unicode ranges rather than the standard ASCII alphabet, a technique known as a homograph attack. Combined with the deliberate single-l misspelling of the word 'wallet', the address is constructed to pass casual visual inspection by anyone expecting a familiar wallet URL.
Operations of this type are typically distributed through phishing emails, malicious search advertisements, or compromised social-media posts, directing victims to a replica interface that mirrors the visual design of the legitimate service. Once on the page, the user is prompted to enter a seed phrase, private key, or keystore file to 'log in' or 'recover' an account. These credentials are the only authentication layer needed to control a self-custody wallet; entering them on any third-party site transfers effective control of the wallet to the operator.
The moment credentials are submitted, automated scripts typically sweep any funds present in the wallet within seconds, before the user has closed the browser tab. Victims attempting to return to the site later often find it unreachable, as operators rotate infrastructure once a domain is flagged. Recovery of assets moved in this manner is technically and jurisdictionally complex, with outcomes dependent on blockchain forensics and the velocity at which funds have been onward-transferred.

Typosquat domains are a documented distribution vector for wallet-credential phishing, exploiting fast or autocomplete-assisted URL entry by users who do not verify addresses character by character.
- 03Presence on CryptoScamDB community blacklistThe domain appears in the CryptoScamDB blacklist, a publicly maintained registry of addresses associated with cryptocurrency fraud. Listing reflects community-sourced confirmation of malicious intent, not an unverified allegation.
- 04Seed phrase solicitation is categorically unsafeAny platform requesting a wallet seed phrase or private key to authenticate a user is structurally fraudulent. No legitimate self-custody wallet service requires these credentials to be transmitted to a web server; they are intended to remain exclusively within the user's own device.
- 05Infrastructure pattern typical of high-rotation phishingHomograph and typosquat domains targeting wallet services are typically deployed in short bursts, making them difficult to take down before significant harm occurs. The low barrier to registering near-identical replacement domains means a blocked address can be substituted quickly by the same operator.
