How the scam operates.
The domain presents itself as a fully functional self-custody Ethereum wallet platform, visually replicating the interface and branding of a widely recognised service. It achieves this through an internationalised domain name (IDN) homograph technique: one or more characters in the domain label are replaced with Unicode equivalents that render identically, or near-identically, to standard Latin letters in most browsers and operating environments. To a casual inspection of the address bar, the domain is indistinguishable from its legitimate counterpart.
Victims typically arrive via phishing links circulated through social media messages, email campaigns, or sponsored search results. The site presents a wallet interface designed to mimic the genuine platform, prompting the user to enter a seed phrase, private key, or wallet credentials, usually framed as a wallet import, account recovery, or security verification step. Once entered, those credentials are transmitted to the operator rather than processed locally, giving the operator immediate access to any funds held in the associated wallet.
The deception becomes apparent only after the wallet has been drained or when the victim attempts a follow-up action and finds the service unresponsive. At that point, any credentials or keys submitted have already been used. The operator typically abandons the infrastructure once exposure increases, leaving no traceable entity and no mechanism for the victim to dispute or reverse what has occurred.

- 03Credential-capture architectureWallet impersonation platforms of this pattern are built specifically to harvest seed phrases and private keys rather than to provide any genuine custody function. Any web-based interface requesting these credentials should be treated as hostile, regardless of how accurately it replicates a trusted platform's visual design.
- 04No verifiable operator identity or registrationOperations built on disposable homograph infrastructure typically present no licensed entity, no regulated address, and no accountable company name. The structural anonymity is not incidental; it is the mechanism that allows the operator to exit without consequence once victims begin to raise the alarm.
- 05Phishing-dependent traffic patternDomains of this type are not discovered through organic navigation; they reach victims via targeted phishing messages, hijacked social media accounts, and paid placements. The reliance on deceptive distribution channels is itself a signal that the platform cannot survive scrutiny in any direct comparison with the service it impersonates.
