A Altura FX se apresenta como uma corretora de forex e trading de varejo com credenciais regulatórias de dois órgãos financeiros reconhecidos: a CySEC, a Comissão de Valores Mobiliários de Chipre, e a Autoridade de Serviços Financeiros das Seychelles. Esse posicionamento é deliberado. A CySEC é um regulador associado à União Europeia, ligado às proteções ao investidor da MiFID II, o que confere à plataforma um ar de legitimidade europeia. Combiná-la com uma autoridade offshore cria a impressão de uma entidade com dupla regulamentação que atende a mercados internacionais.
O padrão de fraude se constrói quase inteiramente sobre um verniz regulatório falso. Os investidores que confiam nos nomes dos reguladores informados, em vez de consultar o registro público de cada regulador, não encontrarão nada que contradiga as alegações à primeira vista. A Altura FX não possui autorização de nenhum dos dois órgãos. Os recursos depositados na plataforma são, portanto, geridos por uma entidade fora de qualquer esquema de compensação ao investidor, sem exigências de adequação de capital e sem nenhum mecanismo de recurso reconhecido em lei. O resultado prático é que o dinheiro do cliente fica desprotegido a partir do momento em que é transferido.
A deturpação fica evidente quando as credenciais alegadas são verificadas diretamente. Nem a CySEC nem a FSA das Seychelles possuem qualquer registro correspondente à Altura FX. A Autoridade de Conduta Financeira do Reino Unido (FCA), embora não regule a plataforma, emitiu um alerta público em março de 2026 manifestando a suspeita de que a operação pode estar oferecendo serviços financeiros sem a autorização necessária. As dificuldades de saque costumam ser o ponto em que os usuários percebem que algo está errado: os pedidos são comumente recusados, adiados ou condicionados a pagamentos adicionais apresentados como taxas ou impostos.

Real markets have variance; anything advertising guaranteed yield in this range is structurally impossible to deliver and is the strongest single signal of a fraudulent platform.
- 02Withdrawal triggers a "release fee"When a user requests withdrawal, the platform invents a new charge, "tax clearance", "anti-money-laundering fee", "withdrawal upgrade", that must be paid before funds release. This is extortion. The original deposit is already gone; the second-stage fee is the operator extracting additional value before disappearing.
- 03Account manager pushes for higher depositsA named "account manager" (often via Telegram or WhatsApp) urges progressively larger deposits, frames hesitation as "missing the opportunity", and discourages independent verification. This social-engineering pattern is consistent across investment-fraud operations and rarely appears at licensed brokers.
- 04No verifiable regulator registrationThe platform claims regulation by a real authority but the regulator's public register has no record of the firm, or has an explicit warning notice. Always check the source register directly, not the platform's own claims.
