El sitio opera bajo un nombre de dominio construido para parecerse de cerca a la interfaz de una billetera de autocustodia de Ethereum ampliamente reconocida. Al replicar la convención de nombres de un servicio de billetera legítimo, la operación apunta a usuarios que buscan ese servicio directamente o que navegan hacia lo que creen que es un destino confiable. La presentación superficial probablemente esté diseñada para reflejar la interfaz auténtica de la billetera, creando un facsímil verosímil para usuarios que no examinan el dominio con detenimiento.
Las operaciones de suplantación de billeteras de este tipo suelen funcionar como herramientas de recolección de credenciales. Un visitante que cree haber llegado al servicio genuino puede recibir la solicitud de ingresar una clave privada, una frase semilla o un archivo keystore para acceder a su billetera. El operador captura estas credenciales en el momento mismo en que se envían. Dado que las claves privadas y las frases semilla otorgan control irrevocable sobre las billeteras asociadas, cualquier fondo presente en el momento del ingreso, o depositado con posterioridad, puede ser vaciado sin posibilidad de recurso.
La víctima por lo general descubre el engaño solo después de intentar acceder a su billetera a través del servicio legítimo y encontrar que faltan fondos, o tras no recibir confirmación de una transacción que creía haber autorizado. En esa etapa, las opciones de recuperación son extremadamente limitadas: las transacciones en la cadena de bloques son irreversibles, y el operador normalmente abandona el dominio una vez que aumenta el riesgo de exposición, sin dejar ningún punto de contacto rastreable.

Inclusion is based on community reporting and verification. This registry is widely used by wallets, exchanges, and browser extensions to block known malicious destinations.
- 04No regulatory or corporate transparency signalsOperations of this type offer no verifiable company registration, regulatory oversight, or public accountability. The absence of any identity beyond the domain itself is consistent with disposable phishing infrastructure, designed to be deployed quickly and abandoned once flagged.
