Cómo opera la estafa.
El sitio se presenta como una interfaz legítima de wallet de autocustodia de Ethereum, dirigida a tenedores de Ether y de tokens ERC-20. Su dominio utiliza codificación Punycode (señalada por el prefijo xn--) para incrustar caracteres Unicode no ASCII que, al renderizarse en la barra de direcciones del navegador, producen una URL visualmente indistinguible de la de un servicio de wallet ampliamente reconocido. Los usuarios llegan creyendo que han accedido a un destino de confianza.
El mecanismo operativo es el ataque de homógrafos IDN: caracteres Unicode que coinciden visualmente con letras ASCII del nombre de un servicio conocido se incrustan en el dominio a nivel de codificación. Las víctimas que llegan a través de un enlace de phishing, un resultado de búsqueda manipulado o un error tipográfico casi imperceptible se encuentran con una interfaz que imita una herramienta de wallet legítima. El sitio solicita una frase semilla, una clave privada o un archivo keystore con el pretexto de desbloquear una wallet; esas credenciales se transmiten al operador en el momento del envío, otorgándole control total de cada dirección asociada.
La vulneración suele ser silenciosa. El sitio puede simular un breve estado de carga antes de quedar en blanco o devolver un error; no se muestra ninguna señal explícita del robo. Las víctimas por lo general descubren la pérdida horas o días después, cuando encuentran que los fondos han sido transferidos a una dirección desconocida. Para entonces, los activos suelen haber sido movidos mediante transferencias en capas destinadas a dificultar el rastreo, y la ventana para una intervención on-chain ya se ha cerrado.
